Streetfighter Sunday, the only place that you can go to view some awesome machines, chat absolute biker bollox on every part available and to what makes a streetfighter, and grab the most amazing breakfast around as served by the one and only Lynn. With Pete judging the winning machine this year, three thousand bikers plus turned out on a cold and overcast morning to share in the delight of a heritage that has stood for many decades now and display each piece of individual statement that a custom machine makes, not to mention the mega burnouts that seem to separate the men from the boys as the testosterone levels begin to flow. Cracking music, good food and some of the friendliest company around, if you haven't been yet, " where are you"?.......... Thanks to Just Jerrica Photography for our snaps and the members too August was the month of speed for the members of Streetfighters Cheshire Mcc. With our own Stuart Roberts competing for his first round of the coveted championships alongside some of the greats like Dodge, Gary Rothwell, The Ghost Rider, Becky Ellis and more.... With Club Members spectating and cheering Stu on, we all watched with baited breath to see how well he did. The weekend was then finished off in true club style with Jorg trying to start fires, Ben collecting as much fuel as possible and a group of womble like creatures all carrying back half of the forest surrounding the airfield, plus did i mention it was beer' o'clock!. Next year will see more competitors from the Club entering to see who can keep it up the longest!!! Thanks go to Mrs Janet Whitham for taking some awesome shots of the day!. Streetfighters Cheshire Mcc was yet again asked to be apart of the new movement that is coming across from our Finnish Brothers, the decimating force that is a Bomber Night in the UK, in association with World Wide Bomber Magazine.
World Wide Bomber Magazine is an online publication full of anarchic, nitro fueled, belly turning madness. An all you can eat buffet of doughnuts, burn outs, speed and adrenaline, with a little bit of hooning around thrown into the mix and they have decided to bring the epidemic that explodes around all things two wheeled and leather clad!. We have been apart of both the first and second exclusive events and have enjoyed in the madness that prevails on such an evening. Picture taken by the god that is MDM himself dashed with a little crazy from the Streetfighters Cheshire Mcc crew. Bodz N Bikers, the brain child of Ricky Crelin and Carol Carr was in its fourth consecutive year held at Winsford Cross Shopping Centre on a hot and humid Saturday afternoon.
Raising money for this years sponsored charity, The Joshua Tree, Ricky and Carol but on display an excellent display of fine machines and for a small donation, children with bright eyes and massive smiles could sit of these creations and have their picture taken. Raising a fab amount of money on the day, that goes towards our yearly total to donate to the Charity after our End Of Season Charity Fund Raiser, this is always a welcomed and much loved local event. As Sunday's go, it doesn't get much better than getting on your bike at the crack of dawn, riding through some of the awesome twisties on the way to the best biker cafe in the North West!.
Lynn's Raven Cafe, Gut Buster Breakfast, what more do i need to say?........ oh, yeah and a couple of thousand of bikes to boot with some jaw droppingly awesome pieces of kit on display, and that's just not the clubs bike lmao! Fab food, good weather and some fantastic music provided by the live bands made Streetfighter Sunday the place to be if you worship at the alter of all things two wheeled!. With our own Jorg Rosema taking home the coveted trophy for Best In Show, the day turned out to be as good as the food served by Lynn and Pete and all in the name of an admirable cause, Blood Bikers Shropshire! Our attendance at Josh Fest, held at Marbury Park Northwich Cheshire, was one to bring a tear to the eye. Not only did all of the members help to raise the £1035.00 given to the charity, but they also turned up in force on a cold and wet Saturday afternoon to support a much needed and valuable asset to the community for all children suffering with any form of the life changing illness that is Cancer.
We will again, as a Club, be putting our heads together to see if we can smash last year's total in fund raising for this fantastic charity in any fun forms that we can starting with Bodz N Bikers, to be held at Winsford Cross Shopping Centre on Saturday 28th May starting from 9am till 3pm. A small selection of the bikes will be on display in the Shopping Centre along with Club Members who are their to meet other like minded enthusiasts and to raise some much needed money too. Streetfighters Cheshire Mcc were invited again this year by the Organisers of the Kickback National Custom Bike Building Show to hold a stand at this sell out event.
Being situated in the Main Arena next to fellow nitro induced enthusiasts such as WorldWide Bomber Magazine, created an excellent buzz around the bikes that we took for display and those that we entered into the show. Bikes from the Club were entered both in the Main Custom Show by Dale Partington and Jorg Rosema, and the Young Builders Award for our budding builders Ben Preston and Fred Newsome. Although the Club did not gain a win in the Young Builders Category, our own Dale Partington came 5th out of 15 in the National Championships. Great round of applause goes to him. On the Club Stand itself, we also had machines displayed by Steve Barrett and Bob Cornforth as well as featured works from Mushty's Polishing, one of the Clubs main sponsors. The weekend is always headlined with one of the greatest Stunt Team around, Two Brothers Racing Stunt Team lead by Ash and Vandal, with Live Music, Free Camping and Entertainment. It s great privilege that we hope to see the Club take part in year after year. Always a joy and pleasure to take part in and is the first of two spectacular events of this kind to be held at Lynn's Raven Cafe, Prees, Shropshire.
Fantastic machines and brilliant like minded people all come together to take a bite at the famous Gut Buster breakfast and then stroll around some of the enigmatic machinery on display with the owners all hoping to win a trophy on the day. The second of these fantastic days is planned for Sunday 5th June, where you can see a handful of our machines on display again in front of the Club stand. Fantastic turn out from the club on the day of the Wirral Egg Run. Always a pleasure for the Club to be apart of this fantastic day in honour of some very poorly children in hospital. The day went off without a hitch or hint of rain and the group ride was received by hundreds of people waving from the streets to support the cavalcade through New Brighton.
Last but not least, our second longest standing sponsor of the club is SingleTracker Suzuki of Crewe Cheshire. Suzuki's official outlet for motorcycle and accessory sales this side of Chester, Julie and her family run business have been by our side since we first started from donating some fantastic items for our charity night every year, to attending many events alongside us to show case the fantastic service that they offer.
call in anytime to arrange a test ride of the newest machines, buy parts, have works completed or if you fancy a bit of indulgence, buy a new machine for the fabulous season ahead!. Julie is not just a Suzuki dealership either, she stocks a wide array of Oxford accessories and other after market parts for all your biking needs.
